Our fundraisers support awareness initiatives, community resources, and financial assistance for students with chronic illnesses. We organize a variety of fundraising efforts, including merch sales, local business partnerships, and donation drives, with all proceeds going toward initiatives like subsidized CareClinic memberships, event materials, and advocacy efforts. We also seek grants and sponsorships to expand our impact and ensure students have access to the tools and support they need. Every contribution helps us continue our mission of building a stronger, more inclusive community for students with chronic illnesses at the University of Iowa.

🚨 Help Us Support Students with Chronic Illnesses! 🚨

Managing a chronic illness in college is overwhelming. Between symptoms, medications, doctor’s appointments, and coursework, many students struggle to keep up with their health while trying to succeed academically. That’s why the Hawkeye Chronic Health Alliance is raising $2,000 to support students with chronic conditions at the University of Iowa.

- $1,000 will fund CareClinic memberships for 50 students, giving them access to a powerful symptom-tracking and health management tool for a full year.
- $1,000 will go toward research to better understand the challenges students with chronic illnesses face and how we can improve support systems on campus.

💡 What is CareClinic, and why does it matter?
CareClinic is an all-in-one health management app that helps students:
- Track symptoms, medications, and treatments to better understand their health trends.
- Log doctor’s appointments and medical notes so they don’t lose track of key information.
- Monitor lifestyle factors like sleep, nutrition, and exercise to see how they impact symptoms.
- Identify symptom triggers by tracking patterns over time, helping students make informed choices about their health.
- And more! CareClinic offers dozens of features designed to support daily health management and improve quality of life.

For many students, this tool can reduce medical overwhelm, improve symptom management, and help them stay on top of their health—all while balancing school. However, cost can be a barrier, and we want to make it accessible to those who need it.

💙 Every dollar counts. Just $20 sponsors a student’s membership! If you can’t donate, sharing or reposting this can go a long way in helping us reach more people who can. Every bit of support makes a difference!

Dysautonomia Awareness Month Fundraiser

The Hawkeye Chronic Health Alliance is looking to raise funds to supply materials to hand out as part of our mission to spread awareness throughout the month of October - Dysautonomia awareness month.

Dysautonomia is a condition affecting the part of the nervous system that controls involuntary functions. So pretty important! This condition can cause dizziness, fainting, stomach problems, poor temperature regulation, and so much more. It affects about 70 million people worldwide, including so many of our organization members!

Sadly, Dysautonomia is not well known. This is why we chose to take action and educate the students of the University of Iowa about the condition! Your donation will make such a huge difference in our efforts.
